# Third-party notices

The original SAMI Writer application, OOXML engine, tests and project documentation are distributed under the root MIT LICENSE.

The Go runtime script embedded in the single HTML is copied unmodified from the Go distribution matching the compiler used for `dist/engine.wasm`. The compiled binary includes the Go runtime and standard-library code. Go's BSD-style LICENSE and PATENTS notice are included in `licenses/GO-LICENSE.txt` and `licenses/GO-PATENTS.txt`; those files apply to the Go components, not the root MIT license. The tested compiler was Go 1.23.2. Runtime/compiled-WASM versions must match when rebuilding.

There are no npm dependencies, CDN assets, bundled font files, Microsoft Office binaries, ONLYOFFICE/Collabora binaries or commercial editing SDKs in this project. Font family names refer to the browser/OS's available fonts. No Microsoft affiliation or compatibility certification is implied.

Optional testing tools (Playwright, Chromium, python-docx, Pillow, lxml, LibreOffice) are installed separately, are not copied into the runtime distribution, and retain their own licenses. The test PNG and sample document content were created specifically for this project.
